Christopher Simpkins

Chris joined Dean and Amelia in 2018, assisting with lighting design and working as a spot operator. Since then, Chris has worked on over 20 shows throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut and is currently the principal lighting designer for The Assembly Theatre in Burrillville. Chris has also designed props, costumes and scenery for a number of local productions.

When not at the theatre, Chris is the Chief Product Architect for Latitude Research, where he designs and develops an interactive video application called Lumiere.
